MEET LISA!
DEMOCRATIC ACTIVIST WHO DELIVERS
Lisa has served as the former Chair of Davidson Democratic Precinct 127, the current Vice Chair of Democrats of North Mecklenburg (13 Precincts in the Lake Norman Region), and a voting member of the Democratic North Carolina State Executive Committee.
DID YOU KNOW? LISA with the help of her board, flipped all of the seats of her precinct to Democratic, except the one she is running for!
She also has worked as a Mecklenburg County Democratic Election Judge and precinct poll worker. Lisa has prioritized registering new voters and working at the polls across Mecklenburg County. She has volunteered on local campaigns and the national campaigns for Obama for America 2008 and 2012, as well as Hillary for America in 2016.
DID YOU KNOW? LISA just wrote a Precinct Organizing Manual that has been shared around North Carolina!
Lisa participated in the Town of Davidson’s “Davidson 101” civic education program and served on the Parent Advisory Board at Davidson Elementary School. In addition, she was the chair of the ReadDavidson program in 2017.
FAMILY and EDUCATION
Lisa has been a resident of District 98 for more than 16 years, living in both Davidson and Cornelius. Her and her husband, Jerry who's in IT, raised their daughter Jackie here. Jackie attended Davidson Elementary and Hough High School. Jackie now goes to the University of Edinburgh in Scotland and studies International Relations.

Lisa’s father, Jack Schwartz, was an Air Force Lt. Colonel, while Lisa, her mother and brother lived off Selfridge Air Force base. Lisa graduated Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Radio-TV-Film.
WORK and VOLUNTEERISM
Lisa’s professional experience includes marketing positions and consultancies with small businesses, national brands, and international clients. Just a few companies she worked for include; DIRECTV in Los Angles, Adler Public Affairs in Long Beach, Clear Blue and Momentive/GE in Huntersville.
DID YOU KNOW? Lisa kicked off her 2024 campaign with a donation drive to benefit the USO. It was so successful that the organization was supplied with all of their resources for an entire month!
She was the proud parent advisor to the winning Hough High School Model UN team and successful Davidson Elementary Odyssey of the Mind teams. In addition, she was the chair of the ReadDavidson program in 2017.
